Stretch of Ospika reopened following crash

A portion of Ospika Boulevard was closed for a matter of hours Tuesday following a two-vehicle collision. 

RCMP said a northbound vehicle lost control coming out of a bend and crossed into the southbound lane where it collided with an oncoming vehicle south of Range Road.

One of the drivers was airlifted to Vancouver while the other was released from hospital in the afternoon.

“It is unknown at this time what all the causal factors are in this incident,” Prince George RCMP Cst. Jennifer Cooper said. “Mechanical data will be collected from both vehicles to aid investigators in making their determination."
