A second man is in custody facing a charge of attempted murder with a firearm from a home invasion in the VLA last month.
Thomas Joshua Toman was arrested on Christmas Day, court documents show.
He also faces counts of using a firearm in a robbery, breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime and using a firearm in committing an indictable offence, as does Julien Naseem Abdala Yasin Lazarre, who was arrested on the day of the Dec. 16 incident.
At the time, police had said they were looking for additional suspects.
In October, Toman was sentenced to nine months probation on two counts of possession of stolen property after spending 16 days in custody.
Both Lazarre and Toman remain in custody.
