Police seeking suspect in bank robbery

Prince George RCMP are asking the public's help to find a man who robbed a local bank while wearing a gas mask on Thursday. At 5:52 p.m., police were called to a robbery at the TD Bank at 5902 O'Grady Road.

Prince George RCMP are asking the public's help to find a man who robbed a local bank while wearing a gas mask on Thursday.

At 5:52 p.m., police were called to a robbery at the TD Bank at 5902 O'Grady Road.

Bank staff told police that a suspect wearing a gas mask entered the bank, and handed a note to bank staff.

The bank staff handed over a sum of money, and then the suspect fled the bank branch on foot.

RCMP officers, assisted by police dogs, conducted a search of the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police are asking anyone who saw somebody matching the description of the suspect in the area, or who has any information about the incident, to call Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
