A Hart-area retailer suffered major damage early Tuesday morning when a stolen pickup truck was smashed into the building as part of a break and enter.
Police were called to the scene on Monterey Road near Highway 97 at 6 a.m. and determined two suspects fled the scene with a quantity of alcohol. Both are believed to be male and were wearing hoodies, RCMP said.
An image of one of the suspects from a security camera was released later the same day.
The pickup is described as a red 2007 Ford F-250 with a full lift kit and bearing B.C. licence plates FC8966. It was reported stolen from a 2000-block Central Street location at 4:45 a.m.
