Police said he had been in an altercation with another person at the corner of 20th Avenue and Redwood Street sometime around 11:20 p.m. last Friday, Oct. 11. Wale was subsequenlty taken to hospital with serious injuries but left on his own accord shortly afterwards, RCMP said.

"This death was both tragic and unnecessary" said Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Our hope is that the identification of these two men will further the investigation and get us closer to providing Gregory Wale's family with some closure."
