Mandatory masks a good thing, most readers agree

During The Citizen's last online poll we asked "Are you in support of Dr. Henry's new measures on mandatory masks and community gatherings?"

The positive answers were the most popular with 57 per cent and 1,078 votes responding "Yes, they were long overdue, while "Yes, we're all in this together," took 21 per cent and 406 votes.

On the negative was "No, they go too far," came in with 16 per cent and 312 votes and trailing was a nod to a more extreme with "No, they don't go far enough," that took five percent and 104 votes.

There were a total of 1,900 votes. Remember this is not a scientific poll.

The next online poll question asks "What do you think is an appropriate punishment for customers who verbally or physically assault store employees enforcing mandatory masks?"
