The Prince George RCMP continue to search for 68-year-old Regnald Percy Waite.

The Prince George resident was last seen on Saturday, August 25 at about 11 p.m.

Waite enjoys the outdoors and is known to go for walks, hikes and bike rides, particularly at Cottonwood Island Park, Ginters Field (near 18th Avenue and Foothills Boulevard), and Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park.

He also frequents the bus stop near the corner of 10th Avenue and Freeman Street.

"Although we have not been able to obtain a description of his bicycle, it is believed he may have taken it with him," RCMP said.

"At this point, foul play is not suspected, but police are concerned for Regnald's health."

RCMP are asking everyone that frequents the outdoors to please report anything suspicious including found clothing and bikes.

Waite is described as Caucasian, 167 cm (5'6") tall and weighing 82 kg (180 lbs) - and has lost weight in the last year. He wears glasses, has blue eyes and grey hair, and may have been wearing "Croc" brand shoes, shorts and a tank top shirt.

Anyone with information on where Waite may be is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only). You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers.
