Charges have been approved against a man arrested during a drug bust more than a year ago.

Mitchell Ryan Wayne Lamothe, 27, faces four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of improper storage of a firearm.

He was among three people arrested on June 28, 2019 when Prince George RCMP executed search warrants on homes on Carlisle Way, Mullett Crescent and Rainer Crescent.

A combined total of over a kilogram of cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin-fentanyl were seized from the homes, along with three shotguns and a significant amount of cash, police said at the time.

Lamothe made his first appearance in provincial court on Sept. 23 and an arraignment hearing is scheduled for Dec. 8, according to court records.
