A local man has been charged with sexually assaulting a young boy and Prince George RCMP are asking any other possible victims to step forward.
Tanner James William Dick, 34, faces one count each of sexual assault and touching someone under age 16 for a sexual purpose, Prince George RCMP said Tuesday.
They said the charges come as a result of an investigation into a report received earlier this month
"Investigators believe that other victims or witnesses are in the community and have not yet come forward," RCMP said.
"Parents are asked to speak to their children, especially those that may know Tanner Dick. Those with information are asked to come forward in order to help officers further the investigation.
"Anyone else that may have information that could further this investigation, is also asked to come forward and speak to investigators."
Dick remained in custody as of Tuesday.
