Leslie Road house fire sees $20,000 damage

There was a call reporting a house fire in the 5000 block of Leslie Road Thursday at about 7:30 a.m.

Four halls and 17 firefighters answered the call. The fire was at the back of the two-storey, single family home. The two occupants of the home escaped with no injuries and no harm came to fire crew members.

The cause is under investigation.

Damage is estimated at about $20,000.
