B.C's civilian-based police watchdog says it has launched an investigation into an alleged incident from earlier this year.
The Independent Investigations Office said Tuesday that a man and a women both sustained injuries in an altercation on Jan. 18 when Prince George RCMP responded to a 911 call from a home in the 3700-block of Lansdowne Road.
It said it was advised of the incident on Thurs., Apr. 1 and has started an investigation.
It is also asking anyone with relevant information of the incident to please contact the Witness Line toll-free at 1-855-446-8477 or via the contact form on the iiobc.ca website.
The IIO investigates all police-related incidents that result in serious harm or death, whether or not there is any allegation of wrongdoing.
