Former teacher pleads guilty to gross indecency

A now-retired local high school teacher has pleaded guilty to a historic sex crime.

Kim Randall Koehn entered the plea Monday at the Prince George courthouse in relation to one count of gross indecency.

The offence occurred between Sept. 1, 1984 and August 31, 1985, according to the B.C. Prosecution Service. Further details were not provided.

Koehn was a teacher at Kelly Road Secondary School at the time.

A date for sentencing is to be set on Jan. 13, 2021.
