During The Citizen's last online poll we asked "what was the biggest story of 2019 in the Prince George area?"

The top spot was taken by the forest sector downturn with 37 per cent and 332 votes, and next came the downtown social issues with 24 per cent and 219 votes, closely followed by the Prince George Spruce King who were first-time BCHL champions and national championship game finalists with 24 per cent at 213 votes.

Trailing was the Mackenzie boy who was lost and found unharmed with nine per cent and 78 votes, the UNBC faculty strike with four per cent and 34 votes and finally the Coastal Gas Link pipeline protests with two per cent and 22 votes.

There was a total of 898 votes. Remember this is not a scientific poll.

Next question is "what is your 2020 New Year's resolution?"
