Fire strikes commercial building

A Prince George business was the scene of an early-morning fire Monday.

A total of 19 fire fighters from four halls were called to the 1700 block of Ogilvie Street shortly before 2:30 a.m.

"On arrival fire crews found a commercial building with smoke and flame showing. Fire crews made a quick attack and knock the fire down," Prince George Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Kevin Scobie

It took crews about four hours to complete salvage and overhaul.

There were no occupants and no injuries.

Cause and fire damage is unknown at this time.
