Prince George RCMP seized drugs and cash in the process of executing search warrants on three homes early Friday morning.
More than five ounces of heroin-fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as $18,000 cash, were seized from homes in the 2800 block of Norwood Street, the 2100 block of Pine Street and the 500 block of Ahbau Street, according to RCMP.
Four men and one were were arrested and later released pending further investigation and charge approval while three other people were released at the scenes. Their names were not provided.
The warrants were executed in relation to a local group believed to be heavily involved in the trafficking of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs, RCMP said.
