Drug investigation sees six arrests

One man and one woman were arrested on drug charges on Friday at a residence on Brock Drive.

The Prince George RCMP Street Crew Unit and the North District RCMP Emergency Response Team executed a controlled drugs and substance act search warrant that saw a 41-year-old man and 37-year-old woman arrested at the house.

Then the Street Crew Unit executed another search warrant for the same thing in a hotel room where three adult males and one adult female were arrested.

Methamphetamine, crack cocaine, fentanyl and cash was seized along with drug trafficking paraphernalia and a prohibited firearm as a result.

The six people who were arrested were held for investigation, later released pending further investigation and charge approval by the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.

The Prince George RCMP is committed to targeting those responsible for causing harm through drug trafficking and its associated violence in the community.
