A dog breeder whose application for a business licence has been denied will take her case to city council.
Roxanna Hamilton, who runs Summer Knight Kennels out of her home at 3622 Hazel Drive, will be the subject of a hearing set for Mon., May 6 in council chambers, 6 p.m. start.
In January, Hamilton filed a petition at the Prince George courthouse over the issue, claiming that for years she was told she did not need one, only to receive a notice in July 2018 saying she was contravening a city bylaw that prohibits running the business without a licence.
