DriveBC is warning of compact ice on Highway 97 North.
It says the condition is in place for a 44-kilometre stretch from Tudyah Lake Provincial Park to Old Hasler Road or 15 km north of McLeod Lake to 1 km south of Pine Pass Summit.
"Blowing snow. Watch for slippery sections," the service adds in an alert issued shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Snowfall warnings issued by Environment Canada for much of the Central Interior on Wednesday have since been ended.
