Highway 16 East has been reopened to single-lane alternating traffic, according to an update from DriveBC, following a collision this morning near McBride.
The stretch had been closed to traffic, and without detour, since shortly after 10 a.m. It was reopened shortly before 3 p.m.
It followed a collision with undetermined injuries reportedly between two semi tractor-trailer units according to RCMP.
Single lane alternating with delays of up to 30 minutes remained in place on Highway 97 at the scene of a fatal collision between a chip truck and a lumber truck on Monday morning, according to DriveBC.
