There was a fire at a condo at 7255 Southridge Avenue late Thursday afternoon, with Prince George Fire Rescue responding with 20 firefighters from four halls.
Fire crews saw heavy smoke and fire coming from a unit at the back of the building that extended to a second unit and the roof of the building.
Crews knocked down the fire on the back deck, pressurized the building and attacked the fire from the inside.
Crews used piercing nozzles that went into the ceiling and used thermal imaging cameras to help determine where the fire was in order to extinguish it.
Fire suppression took about three hours.
Damage is estimated at about $200,000.
No injuries to firefighter or civilians.
The fire was deemed accidental.
