Bear spray suspect remains at large

Prince George RCMP have released a description of a suspect who allegedly wielded bear spray in an attack of a group of youths at Pine Centre Mall on Monday.

RCMP said it appears a male wearing a tan balaclava, and a baseball hat came up to where a group of youths were standing, shouted to get their attention and then pulled the trigger on the canister, catching two of the youths directly.

The suspect is further described as 5'2" tall with a slim build and wearing a white hoodie, a black and grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, bright white shoes. Images from a security camera showed the suspect taking off in a silver, four-door sedan, RCMP were told.

RCMP, firefighters and ambulance were called to the scene shortly before noon to provide treatment and to ventilate an area where the attack occurred of the Shoppers Drug Mart.
