RCMP are asking for the public's help in tracking down someone who held up a convenience store early Monday morning.

A First Nations male with a medium build and wearing a black hoody, red shirt, black pants and a bandana over his face walked into the 7-11 on 20th Avenue sometime before 2:30 a.m. and threatened the employee with a weapon and fled with a few packs of cigarettes.

An image of the suspect from the store's security camera was released Wednesday.

Anyone with information on who the suspect may be is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only).

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
