Passengers with check-in luggage are asked to arrive two hours before their flights out of Prince George Airport because the baggage x-ray equipment has broken down.

Without the equipment, security people are manually screening checked passenger baggage.

Those with carry-on baggage only are not affected.

Technicians have been called to service the equipment and hope to have it back in operation by midday Thursday, airport spokesperson Susan Clarke said.
