Ailing water bomber lands safely at Prince George Airport

A water bomber landed safety at Prince George Airport Thursday afternoon after its pilots requested emergency services to be on standby. The call for the request came in shortly before 1 p.m.

A water bomber landed safety at Prince George Airport Thursday afternoon after its pilots requested emergency services to be on standby.

The call for the request came in shortly before 1 p.m. and the plane landed safely shortly afterwards, PGAA spokeswoman Lindsay Cotter said.

Cotter could not say why the call was made.
