Gun thieves break into residence

Police are on the lookout for thieves who broke into a home on Cuddie Crescent in Prince George Thursday afternoon and stole a number of long guns and the secured cabinet the rifles were stored in.

An alert resident took this photo of two young men believed to have broken into a home on Cuddie Crescent on Thursday afternoon to steal a collection of rifles. Prince George RCMP are still looking for the suspects.

Police are on the lookout for thieves who broke into a home on Cuddie Crescent in Prince George Thursday afternoon and stole a number of long guns and the secured cabinet the rifles were stored in.

Police were called to the scene after a report of suspicious activity but the two suspects believed to have broken into the residence had already fled the scene in a pickup truck driven by a third person.

An alert witness took a photo of two of the culprits and Prince George RCMP are asking the public to view the photo and try to help with their investigation by identifying the two individuals. Both are believed to be 18-25 years old wearing dark clothing, rubber gloves and masks.
