BURBANK, Calif. — The top-seeded San Francisco Shock beat the previously undefeated Vancouver Titans 4-2 on Sunday to win the Overwatch League Stage 2 finals.
The San Francisco esports team picked up a US$200,000 bonus while Vancouver collected $100,000.
The Hangzhou Spark and New York Excelsior, who finished third and fourth, got $50,000 each. The Dallas Fuel, London Spitfire, Los Angeles Gladiators and Shanghai Dragons, who were fifth through eight, earned $25,000 apiece.
Vancouver beat No. 6 Dallas 3-0 in the quarterfinals and No. 5 New York Excelsior 4-1.
The Titans won Stage 1 in March, edging San Francisco 4-3 in the final.
