TORONTO — The Toronto Arrows have signed eight more players, bringing their roster to 20 in advance of their inaugural Major League Rugby season.
The new signings include veteran scrum half Jamie Mackenzie, currently with Canada at the Rugby World Cup repechage in France.
The other Canadian additions are back Shawn Windsor, prop Mike Smith and twin brother locks Tom and Josh Van Horne.
Overseas signings are New Zealand backs Spencer Jones, Sam Malcolm and Aaron McLelland.
McLelland, Smith, Windsor, and the Van Hornes all featured for the Arrows in their 2018 exhibition season.
The Arrows open the 2019 MLR campaign Jan. 26 in New Orleans against NOLA Gold.
