NEW YORK — Sweden's Cruzado Dela Noche won the $1-million Yonkers International Trot on Saturday while Canada's Marion Marauder settled for a fifth-place finish.
Cruzado Dela Noche, a 30-1 longshot, finished the 1-1/4-mile race at Empire City Casino's Yonkers Raceway in two minutes 24.3 seconds, beating Norway's Lionel by a head.
Up and Quick of France was third.
Marion Marauder, a 9-5 pick, moved into the lead at the half-mile mark but faded down the stretch.
Canada's Will Take Charge, a late entry in the 10-horse field, finished seventh.
