Kelly Road secondary is the host, but the Prince George Tennis Club is the venue.
The zone high school tennis championships start this afternoon, 4:15 p.m. to be precise, with competition to be waged between players from Correlieu, Kelly Road, PGSS, Duchess Park, D.P. Todd, and College Heights in the following categories -- boys, both junior and senior, and further broken into singles and doubles net-and-baseline battles.
Points will be kept to determine a team champion.
The event continues Friday at 9:45 a.m., with play expected to wrap up around 4 p.m.
