Prince George gymnasts vaulted to a big medal haul at the Zone 8 championships last weekend in Fort St. John.
The zone championships marked the end of the season for most of the athletes in the Prince George Gymnastics Club
Results are as follows:
Sydney Doyle won a silver medal in all-round after placing fourth on vault, third on bars, second on beam and eighth on floor in Level 1 argo/tyro.
Hannah Gould won a bronze medal in all-around after placing third on vault, first on bars, sixth on beam, and fifth on the floor.
Jade Jacobs finished fourth all-around after placing sixth on vault, second on bars, eighth on beam and second on the floor.
Rachel Massey was fifth all-around after placing second on the vault, fifth on bars, fourth on beam and seventh on the floor.
Kaylee Oberg was seventh all-around after placing eighth on vault and third on beam and floor.
Ilyana O'Beirne was eighth all-around after placing eighth on the bars and sixth on the beam.
Isabella Jackson was sixth on the bars; Paige Bryant was seventh on the vault and sixth on the floor; and Kaitlyn Muir was fourth on the bars.
Kayla Hanson won the gold medal in the all-around after placing first on the vault, bars and second on the floor in Level 1 novice/open.
Madison Boomhower won silver in the all-around after placing first on the floor, and second on the bars and beam and fifth on the vault.
Ella Cole won the bronze medal in the all-around after placing second on the vault, third on the floor and fourth on the bars and beam.
Sydney Casey finished fourth all-around after placing third on the vault and bars, and fifth on the beam and floor.
Monica Bronowski placed fifth in the all-around after winning bronze on the beam and floor, fourth on the vault and fifth on the bars.
Sydney Hamilton won gold in the all-around after winning the bars and floor events, and finishing fourth on the beam and fifth on the vault in Level 2 argo/tyro.
Farrah Normand was sixth all-around after finishing sixth on the bars, beam and floor.
Dallyn Long was eighth on the all-around after finishing first on the vault, third on the beam and eighth on the floor.
Macyn Unger was third on the vault, fourth on the floor and eighth on the bars.
Amy Hackle won gold in the all-around in Level 2 novice/open after finishing first on the floor, second on the beam, third on the bars and fourth on the vault.
Emily MacDonald won silver in the all-around after finishing first on the beam, second on the floor, third on the vault and fourth on the bars.
Samantha Thomas was fourth all around after finishing first on the bars, third on the floor, fifth on the beam and sixth on the vault.
Rhiana Palfy won gold in the all-around in Level 3 novice/open after finishing first on the bars, and floor, fourth on the beam and eighth on the vault.
Naraa Little won silver in the all-around after placing second on the floor, third on the bars and beam and seventh on the vault.
Jaymie Hinks won silver in the all around after placing second on the vault and beam and fourth on the bars and floor.
Makenna Parker was fourth all around after placing first on the vault, second on the bars, third on the floor and sixth on the beam.
Tianna Millins was fifth in the all around after placing third on the vault, fifth on the beam, sixth on the bars and seventh on the floor.
Reid Powers was seventh in the all around after placing fourth on the vault, fifth on the bars, sixth on the floor, and eighth on the beam.
Anna MacDonald won the silver medal in the all around in Level 4, finishing second on the vault, bars and floor and first on the beam.
