Team North will have a distinct Prince George flavour this weekend at the Under-16 female B.C. Cup hockey championship at 100 Mile House.
Included on the team of 14 and 15 year olds are Jayden Malgunas, Kelsey Todd, Megan Hickey, Madison Fjellstrom, Sabrina Knoop, and Kyrsten Franz, all products of the Prince George Minor Hockey Association.
Team North will play a round-robin schedule that started Friday, facing teams from the Okanagan, Kootenay, Fraser Valley, Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island. The final will be played on Sunday.
