The Warriors are coming out to play.
Three fighters from the Spruce Capital Warriors Boxing Club will represent Prince George at an amateur fight card set for Friday, Jan. 29 in Langley.
The card will include Colton Bilawchuk, 21, who will fight the 140-pound class. Also on the bill are Jason Nahal, 16, competing in the 120-pound class, and Jeremy Cook, 24, a recent arrival in the Warriors gym from Vancouver. Cook competes at 140 pounds.
Now in his 50th year as a boxing coach, Warriors trainer Wayne Sponagle is working on plans to host an amateur fight card in Prince George on April 2.
