The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team kicked off the weekend on Friday with a 73-51 loss to the Trinity Western Spartans.

Third-year guard Adaiah Tupas Singh of the Timberwolves matched or set new career highs across the board with 11 points, 34 minutes, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Rebecca Landry (13) and Sveta Boykova (11) also finished in double-digits for the visitors.

The two sides will duke it out again tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm.
