The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team had a tough weekend, falling 93-60 on Saturday and 96-54 on Friday to the University of Fraser Valley Cascades at the Northern Sport Centre.
Amrit Manak and Sveta Boykova led UNBC on Saturday with 14 and 10 points respectively. First-year Viktoriia Filatova would pace UNBC on Friday with 14 points, while Manak would chip in with 11 points.
The team next heads to Edmonton to take on the MacEwan Griffins on November 17 and 18.
