For the UNBC Timberwolves soccer teams, it's time to put boot to ball.
Both the women's and men's teams will start their Canada West Universities Athletic Association seasons tonight. The UNBC women will be on home turf against the UBC Okanagan Heat of Kelowna, while the UNBC men will visit the University of Victoria Vikes.
The women's game will start at 7 p.m. at the North Cariboo Senior Soccer League fields. Kickoff in the men's game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
The UNBC men will play Victoria again on Saturday night, while the UNBC women will host the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack of Kamloops on Sunday (noon, North Cariboo fields).
The Timberwolves are entering their fourth seasons at the Canada West level.
