Life without Sourosh Amani begins tonight for the UNBC Timberwolves men's soccer team.
The T-wolves (0-8) are in Vancouver for a rare Friday night match against the UBC Thunderbirds (6-0). Game time is 7 p.m. The two teams play the second half of the doubleheader Saturday, 7 p.m.
Amani had his broken fibula and tibia surgically repaired after suffering the injury in last Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Lethbridge Pronghorns at the North Cariboo soccer field. The midfielder from Holland was the T-wolves top player as they've navigated through their inaugural season of Canada West action.
