A men's basketball coach has been hired.
As for UNBC's long-vacant director of athletics and recreation position, the search continues.
"As far as I know, the competition is still underway," Rob van Adrichem, UNBC's vice president of external relations, said Monday, the same day the school announced Todd Jordan as the new hoops coach.
Len McNamara, who had been the UNBC athletics director for nine years, was fired without cause last September. The job posting went up in late March and is still on UNBC's website. The closing date was April 16 but applications are being accepted until the position is filled.
