The IDL Projects U18 Cougars hosted the Vanderhoof U18 Bears on Sunday afternoon in CN Centre in the second game of a weekend doubleheader between the two hockey teams.
Saturday's first game of the weekend ended in a 5-5 tie so both teams where looking to get the jump out of the gate. The Cougars started off strong and thanks to a solid performance between the pipes, they were able to hold of the visiting Bears on their way to a 2-0 victory.
The next action for the U18 Cougars will be March 4th and 5th when they head to Dawson Creek to take on the Dawson Creek Canucks.
