U-13 Kodiaks move to 2-0 at provincial tournament

So far, the Under-13 Kodiaks are putting together a perfect provincials. The boys all-star team from the Prince George Youth Soccer Association elevated its record in the provincial B championship tournament to 2-0 on Friday.

The boys all-star team from the Prince George Youth Soccer Association elevated its record in the provincial B championship tournament to 2-0 on Friday. On the pitch in Penticton, the Kodiaks downed the Peace Arch Rangers 4-1. In their Thursday opener, the P.G. boys edged Terrace 2-1.

In other Friday results: the U-14 boys deadlocked 1-1 with Vernon; the U-14 girls defeated Kootenay East 1-0; the U-15 boys lost 6-0 to Gorge FC; the U-16 boys drew 1-1 with Coquitlam to remain unbeaten; and the U-18 boys topped Richmond 4-2.

Round-robin games will conclude today and medal contests will be held on Sunday.
