Pat Hennelly already has Prince George high school graduates Colin Carson, Spencer Reed and Nic Balazs in uniform for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack. The head coach of the Kamloops-based men's volleyball team now has his sights set on another young star from P.G. He's Jordan Foot, a six-foot-five middle blocker who is entering Grade 12 at D.P. Todd secondary school.

"He's on our radar, for sure," said Hennelly, whose team competes in the Canada West conference of Canadian Interuniversity Sport. "We'll probably be talking to him this summer about coming down and playing at TRU. He's definitely going to be a CIS player and hopefully it will be at TRU."

Foot, who also hones his skills as a member of the Prince George Youth Volleyball Club, recently cracked the Team BC roster in the 17-and-under age group. From July 27-29, he'll be in Winnipeg for the Western Elite Championships. In the tournament, Team BC will go up against squads from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
