The D.P. Todd Trojans were the highest-placing local team at the KSS Best of the West senior boys volleyball tournament, held in Kelowna last weekend.
In the 38-team event, the Trojans finished 18th after a loss to Belrose in the Black Division championship match. D.P. Todd defeated local rival College Heights 12-25, 25-17, 15-8 in the quarterfinal round and downed Norkam in the Black Division semifinals.
Belrose, meanwhile, beat Prince George's Duchess Park in its Black Division semifinal contest.
MEI claimed the tournament championship after a victory against Jasper in the Gold Division final.
