They fell short of zone gold. The D.P. Todd Trojans will, however, still have the opportunity to play for a provincial title.
Friday night in Williams Lake, the D.P. Todd senior girls basketball team fell 63-55 to the Nechako Valley Viqueens in the championship game of the north central zone tournament. The Viqueens, with that win, claimed the first of two berths to the double-A provincials, Feb. 24-27 in Kamloops.
