Treasure adds Pan-Am silver to medal chest

It resulted in a silver medal in high jump for the 19-year-old Prince George Track and Field Club member at the Pan-Am junior championships Saturday in Miramar, Fla.

Treasure jumped 1.80 metres to place second, behind Shanay Briscoe of the United States, who soared over the bar at 1.83m.

Kimberley Williamson of Jamaica tied with Treasure at 1.80m, but had three misses while advancing that far, while Treasure had just one.

Treasure is registered to attend Kansas State this fall on a track scholarship.
