Torch event fired up Olympic interest

It was about 5 p.m. on Friday when the bah-humbug attitude I admit I had toward the Olympics was taken away.

Burned away, if you will, by a flame.

Stuck in traffic, and originally frustrated by that, I saw the Olympic torch procession passing Pine Centre Mall, turning from Westwood Drive onto Massey. Corporate vehicles, RCMP cruisers with lights flashing and additional security blocked any view of the torch.
