The Prince George Spruce Kings have announced the signed commitment of Ryan Wachtel (’06) for the 2024/2025 season.
Wachtel is a 5’8, 150-pound forward from Rumson, NJ, who spent the last three seasons at Brunswick School of the USHS-Prep League. In 90 USHS-Prep games, Wachtel had 25 goals and 32 assists for 57 points. He also added 5 goals and 6 assists for the Long Island Gulls between their 16U AAA and 18U AAA programs over the past two seasons.
Wachtel is committed to Princeton University to play NCAA Division I hockey following his junior career.
Spruce Kings general manager Mike Hawes said: “Ryan is a very talented player that we’re very thrilled to add to the group. We’re excited to work with him on his development and preparation for college hockey”
