Tandy 50th out of 87 in Olympic biathlon

After shooting the lights out of the Olympic biathlon range with only one miss in 30 shots in her first two races, Megan Tandy elevated her sights for Thursday's 15-kilometre individual start race. She was aiming for a top-30 finish.

After shooting the lights out of the Olympic biathlon range with only one miss in 30 shots in her first two races, Megan Tandy elevated her sights for Thursday's 15-kilometre individual start race.

She was aiming for a top-30 finish.

It didn't happen for the 21-year-old from Prince George. But she still emerged as the top Canadian, just as she was in the sprint and pursuit, placing 50th out of 87 skiers on the Callaghan Valley course at Whistler Olympic Park.
