Among the more than 47,000 runners who took part in Sunday's Sun Run in Vancouver were a trio of athletes from Vanderhoof.
Alexander Nemethy, a Grade 10 student at Nechako Valley secondary, completed the course in 34 minutes and 48 seconds, finishing fifth in his age group and 75th overall.
Charlie Borek, a NVSS Grade 8 student, was eight in his age group and 285th overall with a time of 39 minutes, 20 seconds.
In the men's 50-54 category, Brian Nemethy was second in 35 minutes, 44 seconds and was 98th overall.
