Unfortunately for the T-wolves, it was the only goal of the game Monday in a CIS pre-season game in Montreal.

"[It] a great night for us to realize some of the areas we will need to work on, while at the same time being excited that on a night where we were not as sharp as we could be we were able to limit McGill's scoring chances while creating some great chances of our own," said UNBC men's team head coach Alan Alderson, in an email message.

"After some half time adjustments after a fairly even first half, we were really excited by the scoring chance created by Chris Russel that Jake Vickers slipped just past the far post in the first minute of the second half."

Ty Venhola and Mitch Macfarlane split the goaltending duties for UNBC.

The T-wolves meet the University of Montreal Carabins tonight in Montreal. UNBC started its tour in Ottawa Saturday by beating the Ottawa Fury FC junior squad 1-0
