Cariboo Cougars forward Brandon Dent cuts past Fraser Valley Thunderbirds defender Travis Halladay on Friday night at Kin 1. In the first game of the B.C. Hockey Major Midget League playoff championship series, the Thunderbirds beat the Cougars 5-2. Game 2 goes tonight at 7:15 at the same rink. If a third and deciding game is required, it will start at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, also at Kin 1.
