Given the chance to sweep the Prince George Masters Ball Hockey League playoff final, Summit Insurance rose to the occasion.

Down 4-0 in to Cap-abilities in Game 2 of the best-of-five series Tuesday at the Roll-A-Dome, Summit rallied for five unanswered goals to clinch the playoff championships with a 5-4 victory.

Summit, a first-year team, defeated Caps 6-5 in overtime in Game 1 of the final and won Game 2 5-3. Summit also won the regular season title, ended a six-year reign for Caps-abilities. Caps had also won the past five playoff championships.

Scott Cunningham of Caps was the league's top scorer with 31 goals and 55 points in 24 games.

The league will host its wind-up party tonight at 7 p.m. at Pizza Hut in Parkwood Mall.
